Product Review: Shokubutsu Facial Wash

Hello, March~ :D

Hope your February had been amazing, if not, there are 10 more months to go in 2013.
To start the first March post, I'll be reviewing this AH-MAZING (っ◕‿◕)っ♥  facial wash.
It's nourishing. It's soft to the touch. Best of all, it is CHEAP!
It's none other than Shokubutsu line of facial wash. I only bough two types of facial wash from the brand that works with my dry/oily combination skin.

The green one is the Balance Facial Foam Cleanser and the beige one is Hydrating Facial Foam Cleanser.

Balance Facial Foam Cleanser [For Oily Skin]
It has green tea and green apple extracts. Well, according to the name it balances the face's complexion (??). For a better description, it has features of Lightening, Moisturizer, Nourishing and Pore Cleaner. <--- Got this from the website.

I bought this 'cause I could't find the hydrating one so, it's okay. It does tighten the pore a little (not good for people who have really dry skin though, it can irritate the skin) but lightening, not so. It does moisturizes and nourishes the skin, so it's not bad.

The smell is also not very strong, just to let you know. I don't like too smelly facial wash. Bleugh!

Overall, this my second favourite facial wash :)

Hydrating Facial Foam (For delicate skin)
This has grape seed and balm mint. This is a MUST-HAVE product (Did I mention it is very cheap?).

My sister and I love this product so much. I discovered this gem at the end of 2011. I was looking for cheap facial wash that could moisturize my dry skin while I save up some money to get an expensive one. But ta-da, not much money is needed for this :D

This is my top 1 facial wash. For people who have really dry skin or flaky skin. Use this for about two or three months, you can see an improvement in your skin. Mine did!

For people living in Brunei, they sell this less than BND $8. I'm not sure if they sell in other countries beside Asia region.

I like to add a story for this product. They actually ran out of this particular product in supermarkets and shops. I don't know why! I was looking for it for the last 5 months or so, everywhere in Brunei. In the end, I had to settle with the Balance Facial Wash which is not bad.

I actually had to buy two and it was the last two stock on the shelf compared the rest which were stacked in rows of 5. Thank goodness, it was during Chinese New Year sales. Haha, so I bought two under BND$10.

My sister then suddenly had the dry skin condition rising up, so she bought an expensive facial wash from a local Korean-line of make up shop but it didn't work. So, I recommended her this product. She loves it :D She stopped using her expensive facial wash though D: (Bai, bai money~)

As you can tell, this product is my bias and I hope the Lion company won't change whatever great thing they got going on right now.

Advice: To ensure the product works on the skin, the usage must be constant. For example, I used this product three times in one day. Morning, Before going to sleep and whenever I feel icky/oily.

Warning: If you try this product and pimples starts to form or skin condition is getting worst. Stop using it! This applies to any facial products.

That is all for this product review. 'Till next time :D

Advice of the day: Drink your water slowly. For example: Taking sips instead of one or two big gulps. This allows the body to absorb enough H20 (Water) into the organs. Also, decreases frequent urination problem.

Movie and Food day!

Hello guys! Hope you had a wonderful Thursday, I know I did. It was a public holiday today so my sister and I went to Bandar to spend the day. I was so sleepy in the morning, but then again, when ever am I not sleepy in the morning?  (Not a morning a person :/)

So this is me, wearing quite thick make-up and facing the sun for lighting. There's a tip for you selca people ;)

*Selca = Self-camera or pictures taken by yourself.

We visited Jing Chew Restaurant for the FIRST TIME!

The place had been there for 66th years, if I'm not mistaken and we never knew about the place 'till now. My sis ordered the Sesame Kuew Tiaw and I ordered Roti Kahwin (Kaya and Butter). I have to say the food is pretty good especially the Sesame Kuew Tiaw (MUST TRY ONE!!).

The address is at Spg 5, Menglait on the KFC side there. It took us a while to find the place 'cause it was so near the bridge and slightly hidden from traffic. Thank goodness for whatsapp and asked a friend who lives nearby of the location (Thank you <3).

Then, we went to the Mall to watch a movie.

(WARNING THERE MAY BE SPOILERS AHEAD!!!  Or not)

I've been waiting for this movie since I watched the trailer November 2012. And it did not disappoint me at all. I love graphic novels and this movie was like one. I love action movies like this, it has an interesting plot line, a twist to the original Folklore but a few things didn't make sense. Also, the movie was hella bloody, lotsa CGI-ed blood. The choreography for the fight scenes was not too bad, they even had a comedic nature to it.

The script was okay-okay. Not much exchanging of lines. More actions than words.

To top of it all, I loved the fact that the movie has Steampunk reference, the weapons. The weapons used by Hansel and Gretel were awesomeeee! If I were to chose between Gretel's bow shot (that can shoot both ways 90 degrees) weapon or Hansel's rifle/shotgun/sabre compartment, the rifle wins.

Also, soundtrack was composed and produced by Hans Zimmer (Me likey!). The same guy who made soundtracks for Inception, Lion King, Gladiator, Kung Fu Panda and much more! And the music was awesome. 'Nuff said.

I rate it 4/5. Deduct one mark due to some unnecessary scenes and a few didn't make sense.

Also, the movie forgot to rate it like 16 years old and above only. So gore mannn  D: I advised you to not bring children, seriously. O.o''

Not gonna spoil it to you anymore, go watch it! ( Unless, it is not your thing so, whatev XD There are other movies :3 )

At Kenny Rogers restaurant~

Last stop was at Giant, Rimba. Ate at Kenny Rogers Restaurant, not bad. Affordable. Though, the service was slow ( :/ maybe because it's new..?)

Then, went home.

:D

Advice of the day: Drink at least 10 glass of water a day for a healthy body ( including non-fattening food D: )
